ROBERTO BERTONI

From 1981 to 2017 Roberto Bertoni was Lecturer and then Associate Professor of Italian and Fellow at Trinity College Dublin. Retired from October 2017, he is presently Fellow Emeritus at the same College. He has published on Italian post 2nd world war topics, has translated a number of Irish authors, written essays and fiction, worked on intercultural East Asian / Western topics, and founded and edited the series of volumes ‘Quaderni italiani di cultura’. He has also founded and still edits the journal online Carte allineate.
